Pax all! I am trying to find/create a fairly comprehensive assessment for spoken English only, something that can go from Beginning Literacy to Advanced/ABE. Any suggestions?
The BESTPlus is useful for oral/speaking and listening assessment. The tests are not free, but the training is. Look on ecampus for opportunities. One can always create a test using pictures and conversation questions of one's own creation. BESTPlus includes ratings as you use the test on a computer. That makes assessment easier especially if you need a number/level.
